Applied Behavior Analysis

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a science largely dedicated to study humans behavior and the way that the environment affects it. Based on principles of learning and motivation that comes from decades of scientific research to solve behavioral problems that are important to the society. ABA applies evidence-based techniques that involve teaching more effective ways of behaving through positive reinforcement and also working to change or shape existing behaviors, by focusing on the behavior itself, its antecedents and its consequences. ABA has been demonstrated effective to improve social skills, daily living skills, and some others as communication, reading, hygiene, motors, and visual performance tasks. ABA services can be provided in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, natural environments, and clinics.

Why ABA?

ABA is widely known as the most evidence-based intervention available for individuals who has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities; helping them living a safer and more fulfill lives. The success of ABA therapies is rooted in its ability to address undesirable behaviors and encourage positive ones by rewarding progress. ABA therapy successfully demonstrates how quickly problematic behavior can be transformed.

When to start with ABA?

Immediately  after autism diagnosis. Early intervention during childhood has the potential to make significant improvements and benefits, but it's never to late to start with ABA.
